SPA POLICIES

Welcome to Zia Wellness Spa, where your health and well-being are our top priorities. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, we ask that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with our spa policies. By booking an appointment, you agree to abide by the following terms:

Appointment Booking

  • Scheduling: We recommend booking your appointment in advance to guarantee your preferred date and time.

  • A valid credit card is required to secure all appointments. Your card will not be charged unless the cancellation policy is violated or for services rendered. 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation Policy: We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment, for a Full Refund.

  • Cancellations made within a 24 hr time frame of your appointment time,  may incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service fee, if the service time can not be filled. 

  • No-shows or appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the service cost.

Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your appointment time. Late arrivals will result in a shortened treatment time, as appointments are booked accordingly and we aim to respect the next client's appointment. 

  • If you arrive 20 minutes or later, we may have to reschedule your appointment, and a cancellation fee may apply.

Refunds & Credits

Zia’s intent is for each client to be 100% satisfied with our services and products.  Returns and refunds are limited to the following situations:

  • Services rendered cannot be refunded; depending on the circumstance of service in question, a credit may be applied to your account instead

  • A full refund is given to any appointment cancelled at least 48 hours prior to appointment.  A partial refund is given if you cancel at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. 

  • No refunds will be made for a no show of any appointment.

  • We will gladly refund or exchange unused products, if you return the product with receipt within 10 days of purchase. Products can only be refunded if unused and in its original packaging.

  • Gift card orders are not refundable, but can be transferred.

Health and Wellness

  • Consultation: A brief consultation is required before your first treatment to assess any health concerns, allergies, or special conditions. The consultation is already allocated the time of your appointment.

  • Health Information: Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, injuries, or if you are pregnant before your treatment begins. Some services may not be suitable for certain conditions.

  • We follow the latest guidelines for health and safety. If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment.​​​

Payment and Gratuities

  • Payment Methods:

    • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, & Cash. Sorry No checks are accepted.

    • Full payment is due at the time of service.

  • Gratuities: Gratuities are not included in the service price and are greatly appreciated. A recommended gratuity of 15-20% of the service price is customary.

Personal Belongings

  • We recommend leaving valuables at home. Zia Wellness Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Spa Etiquette

  • Quiet Zone: Please keep conversations at a low volume to create a peaceful environment for all guests.

  • Mobile Phones: We ask that you turn off or silence your phone during treatments to maintain a serene atmosphere.

Gift Certificates

  • Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They cannot be exchanged for cash.

Conduct

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest whose behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, or violates the peaceful atmosphere of the spa. Please see the 'Safe Environment' policy.

Children Policy

  • Age Restrictions: For safety and comfort, children under the age of 13 years old are not permitted in the treatment rooms.

  • Supervision: Children 13 - 16 yrs old must have a parent or guardian remain in the spa during the session.

  • No Children in Relaxation Areas: To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests, children are not allowed in the relaxation or lounge areas unless they are receiving a service.

At Zia Wellness Spa, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. Sexual harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited. By entering our establishment, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the spa’s policy on sexual harassment, which ensures that all interactions within the spa are professional, respectful, and safe for everyone.

  1. Zia's Commitment to You:

  • We are dedicated to providing a comfortable and professional experience during your visit. Our staff is trained to provide high-quality services with care and respect for your privacy. We expect all clients to maintain the same level of professionalism and respect toward our staff.

   2. Client's Responsibility:

       By receiving services at Zia Wellness Spa, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Professionalism: You will maintain a respectful, professional demeanor toward the spa staff, other clients, and any individuals present during your visit.

  • Respect for Boundaries: You will respect both verbal and physical boundaries set by the spa staff during treatments.

  • No Tolerance for Harassment: You understand that any form of sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If such behavior occurs, the spa reserves the right to:

    • Stop the treatment immediately

    • Ask the client to leave the premises

    • Refuse future services

    • Report the incident to relevant authorities, if necessary

    • Charge the Client for the service appointment

   3. Sexual Harassment Definition:

  • Sexual harassment refers to any unwelcome verbal, non-verbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature that creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive environment. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Unwanted sexual advances

    • Inappropriate comments or jokes of a sexual nature

    • Physical contact that is unwanted or inappropriate

    • Inappropriate gestures or visual displays of a sexual nature

    • Any other behavior that creates discomfort, fear, or a hostile environment for the staff or other clients
